Return & Exchange Policy – Stiver Optics

At Stiver Optics, we take pride in delivering precision-crafted, American-made Buehler-style scope mounts and rings. If you find that a product doesn’t meet your expectations—or is defective—we’re here to help.

1. Eligibility for Returns & Exchanges

  • Items must be unused, in original condition, and returned within 45 calendar days of delivery date. They should include all tags, manuals, and packaging intact.
  • Custom‑made or personalized ("engraved") products are final sale and not eligible for return or exchange.

2. How to Initiate a Return or Exchange

  • Visit our Returns Portal (link on our website) to request a return or exchange.
  • Once authorized, you'll receive a prepaid return shipping label for domestic (U.S.) returns.

3. Return Shipping & Fees

  • For U.S. returns using our prepaid label, a flat $12 label fee will be deducted from your refund.
  • If you choose your own carrier, shipping costs are your responsibility and are non-refundable.

4. Refunds & Store Credit

  • Refunds will be issued to the original method of payment (or store credit, if you prefer).
  • Processing may take up to 3 weeks from receipt of your return at our warehouse.
  • You’ll receive a confirmation email once your refund has been issued.

5. Exchanges

  • We’re pleased to offer in-stock item exchanges within 15 days of delivery.
  • Exchanges can be submitted through the same portal used for returns; simply select "exchange" instead of "refund."

6. Late Returns

  • Returns made after 45 calendar days but within 60 calendar days of delivery may be eligible for a Merchandise Credit rather than a refund.
  • Returns received after 60 days of delivery are not eligible for refund or credit.

7. Non-Refundable Items

  • Non-refundable items include:
  • Custom‑made or engraved mounts or rings
  • Any item marked clearly as “Final Sale” at time of purchase

8. Condition of Returned Items

  • Returned items must be unworn, unaltered, and free of damage, with all original packaging, labels, tags, and manuals intact.
  • Used, worn, or altered items—including signs of installation or rifle mounting—may be rejected.

9. International Returns

  • International customers are responsible for return shipping; we do not supply prepaid labels.
  • Email our support team within 45 calendar days of delivery with:
  • Your order number, Carrier and tracking information, Reason for return
  • Duties or customs charges associated with returns are non-refundable.
